Multiplier Event in Reus, Spain
Two Multiplier Events (ME) on the Coeducation in Green project took place in Reus on 18 and 28 October. These ME were the culmination of two years of cooperation work between different partners from different countries of the European Union. Specifically, this partnership is formed by entities from Portugal, Lithuania, Cyprus, Greece, Italy and Spain.
Each country had to carry out their respective MEs, and in the case of Spain there are two partners that had to comply with this act. These two associations are Open Europe and Associació Taller Baix Camp, who decided to jointly carry out the first ME in the sensory garden of Taller Baix Camp, one of the most interesting results of the Coeducation in Green project, and a second ME in the facilities of Open Europe.
In the ME of the 18th of October organised in the sensory garden there were about 30 attendees from different educational centres, associations and entities that were the target audience of the project in order to disseminate the results in an effective way.
The day was full of different activities. Initially, the two collaborating entities explained what they have been working on during the two years of the project and, afterwards, all the attendees were able to enjoy games and interaction activities in the sensory garden to understand the final result of the project in a more dynamic way.
All the senses of the human body and its psychomotor skills were worked on from an educational and inclusive point of view. This was the objective and the starting point from which many institutions and associations should start working.
The feedback from the attendees regarding this ME was really gratifying and they themselves were able to be aware that a sensory garden is not only a playful space, but also a place for experimentation, learning, inclusion and personal growth, both by the people who are direct users and those who are professionals.
Open Europe organised a Multiplier Event for the Co-Education in Green project on 28 October. The event took place in Reus, at the Open Europe office.
The main aim of the Multiplier Event was to share with stakeholders the work done and tasks carried out over the last few years. We are at a point in the project where we can share real results and measure real impact. So, our goal was to demonstrate to the participants of the multiplier event how they can benefit from the outputs and outcomes of the project.
With 28 participants representing education centres, civil society organisations, SMEs, etc., the event was a great success.
During the events, the project objectives, partners, activities, outputs and results were presented. Some suggestions were also made on how to implement the project results in the daily work of education centres and civil society organisations.
We made a small tour of the project's website and presented the e-learning platform, which provides free access to all the results developed.
At the end of the event, we distributed a feedback form asking participants to give us their honest opinion. After evaluating the results, the event was deemed a success. Not only were the participants satisfied with the project and its results, but there were also very interesting discussions about the implementation of the project and future cooperation. Most of the participants were very engaged in the discussions and motivated to incorporate the materials developed during the project into their daily activities.
